Mr William Wigmore, Director for Crop Research, Ministry of Agriculture – launched the “State of the World’s Biodiversity for Food and Agriculture”, at a meeting held at the FAO headquarters in Rome on the 22 February 2019, in his capacity as Chair for the Commission on Genetic Resources. This is a first for the Pacific and involved over 2000 professionals. We congratulate William for this huge achievement, not only for the Ministry of Agriculture, but for the Cook Islands.
